Absolutely! We know that many merchants don’t process tips right away when they charge your card, and sometimes not even until the following day. When adding a tip to a purchase, you do not need to keep the qube open for it to be added to the transaction. Just make sure you have enough in the qube's balance to cover the tip once it's added!
You will see a notification in your app for the charge amount before the tip. Once the tip amount is processed, the total for the purchase will automatically be adjusted in your app and qube to reflect the total transaction, including tip. You'll get a Payment Update notification that says,
"Your recent [Name of Merchant] transaction of $[amount without tip] has settled for $[amount including tip] in your [qube name]. The new balance is $[new qube balance]."
