There are MANY different ways to deposit money into your Qube account!
In fact, there are so many ways to deposit money into your Qube account that it can get overwhelming. To try to keep things simple, we've listed the most common methods below, with a brief overview and/or link to a step-by-step "How-To" for each method.
Direct Deposit - 2 days early
Direct Deposit is the quickest and easiest way to get money into your Qube account. If your employer participates in direct deposit, you can get your paycheck up to two days early! Wednesday payday, anyone? Click here for details on setting up Direct Deposit.
Card Deposit - 0 to 30 minutes
A Card Deposit simply allows you to deposit money into your Qube account using a debit card from one of your other banks. The first Card Deposit is FREE to ALL Qube users. Card deposits have a $10 minimum and $25 maximum. All accounts are limited to one card deposit per 24-hour period, and two card deposits total. Second card deposit has a 4% fee. Transfer times vary by bank and may take up to 30 minutes. Click here for details on setting up a Card Deposit.
Bank Deposit - 1 to 5 business days
Within this option, there are two ways you can do ACH transfers from an external bank account.
-
- Initiating the transfer from your other bank to Qube Money via their app/website. ACH Transfers from another bank when initiated by and sent from that bank generally take 1-3 business days.
- Initiating the deposit/transfer request from within the Qube app. External transfers into Qube made through a linked account in your Qube app can take 1-5 business days.
Please keep in mind that weekends and bank holidays can affect transfer times. Click here for details on linking an external bank account to Qube.
3rd Party Payment Apps - Varies
It is possible to transfer money into your Qube Money account from third-party payment apps such as Venmo, PayPal, Facebook Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, and Apple Cash. These apps function similarly to an external bank transfer/ACH deposit when your Qube Money account and routing information is added as an External Bank Account within the respective app. Transfer times will very for each. Click here for additional details on using third-party payment apps.
Apple Cash - Instant to 3 business days (method dependent)
Apple Cash is a mobile wallet feature that allows you to send money directly into your Qube Account. While Apple Cash is a third-party payment app listed above, we wanted to mention it here in more detail because it is the only third-party payment app which allows you to immediately fund your own Apple Cash Balance from a debit card. This greatly increases the speed at which you can send money to your Qube account.
Method Note: When you transfer money from your Apple Cash card, you can use Instant Transfer to send funds instantly to Qube or use a bank transfer to send funds to Qube in 1 to 3 business days.
To setup and deposit money through Apple Cash:
Cash App - 7 to 10 business days, or not at all
While Cash App is an option for depositing money into your Qube account, we do not recommend it. Many transfers get caught in the merchant credit review process, so most users do not receive their money for 7-10 business days, or the money is returned to their Cash App. Many users have experienced difficulties and delays, and we cannot guarantee a good user experience with Cash App.
Mobile Check Deposit - Currently not available
Qube does not currently support Mobile Check Deposit. We know it is a popular feature and hope to offer it soon.
Cash/ATM Deposit - Currently not available
Currently, Qube does not support cash deposits at an ATM, however, you can make cash withdrawals. For now, simply deposit cash at your other bank, and transfer it into Qube using one of the methods listed above.
