Congratulations! You've got your debit card in hand and are excited to put it to use!
This means you've already added funds to your Qube account, as cards are not mailed until you've made your first deposit. If you'd like to learn more ways to deposit money into Qube, click here.
Once you've deposited money into your Qube account and have funds in your Cloud balance, you'll need to transfer funds into a qube before you can use your card for a purchase. If you haven't created your qubes yet, do that first.
After your qubes are created, fund them from your Cloud balance. You can do this from the Funding Screen (within the Overview Screen) or from the Qube itself. Click here for more on funding your qubes.
Now your qubes are funded, and you’re ready to start using your debit card! To use your card, log into the app, go to the Spending Screen , and simply tap on the dollar amount shown next to the qube you want to open. You need to open a qube before making a purchase, or the card will decline. Tapping the dollar amount will open the qube and will leave it open for 30 minutes, or until a purchase has been completed, whichever comes first.
Do I need to activate my debit card?
No! When you receive your physical card in the mail, it is ready for use as long as you've set up a PIN. To do this, go to your Profile Screen , select Card Information, and then Change Card Pin.
One of the most amazing parts of Qube Money is that your virtual debit card is issued as soon as your account is created. Your virtual card is automatically activated when your account is opened and available for immediate use. While you're waiting for your physical card to arrive, you can add your card number to an External Cash/Payment App or mobile wallet like Apple Pay or Google Pay for in-person transactions.
The only exception to this is if you received a new debit card to replace a damaged card. For security reasons, we will need to speak with you via chat or phone to activate your replacement card.
